Overview

iPhone x Review

Employing the first OLED screen that rises to the standards of iPhone, the iPhone X features a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors, giving the phone stunning accurate colors with high brightness and a 1,000,000 to 1 contrast ratio.

With iPhone X, the device is the display as the all-new 5.8-inch Super Retina screen fills the hands with no home button on the phone, unlike the other iPhone series. According to a review on Forbes, the writer suggested that the iPhone X user experience is a major step backward with respect to the removal of the home button.

It now takes longer, requires more steps and additional gestures to use and navigate the new user interface of the iPhone X than any of its predecessors, which is a major step backward and the cause of many frustrations.

Looking at the bright side, the iPhone X also featured the most durable glass ever in the smartphone, front and back with surgical-grade stainless steel. The phone is water and dust resistant also.

At the back is a larger and faster 12MP camera which has made photography simplified. At the front is a tiny space which houses the 7MP front camera and other sensors including the Face ID.

With the Face ID, your face is now your password. The TrueDepth camera analyzes more than 30,000 invisible dots and 50 different muscle movements to create a precise depth map of your face. It is quite easy to set up and efficient.

The iPhone X is powered by a 3GB RAM on an A11 Bionic which features as the most powerful and smartest chip ever in a smartphone according to Apple Inc. The A11 Bionic features a neural engine that's capable of up to 600 billion operations per second.

Apple also included an adaptive recognition on the processor to allow the Face ID adapt to physical changes in your appearance over time. All this is powered by a 2716mAh battery which lasts up to two hours longer than iPhone 7 and allows wireless charging.

With all these new features, its high time you let go of that 6, 6s, or 7 and say hello to the future with the iPhone X.
